There are many ways to volunteer with Dunwoody Nature Center! You'll make friends, support outdoor education in our community, and help preserve Dunwoody Park.

Individual and Family Volunteers
You'll find plenty to do at Dunwoody Nature Center. There are many volunteer opportuntiies, for just about any skill and age. Check the options to the side.
In addition, each of our special events, from Enchanted Forest (October) and Cocoa & Candles (December) to the Butterfly Festival (June) and Family Animal Encounters (throughout the year) are supported by volunteers.

Corporate and Civic Volunteers
Where would Dunwoody Nature Center and Dunwoody Park be without our wonderful corporate and civic volunteer groups? Up a tree! Down the creek! Tripping over weeds and vines! Understaffed for special events!

Hands On Atlanta Service Days
Trail maintenance work sessions in partnership with Hands On Atlanta Volunteers provide much of the labor to keep our park safe and lovely.
Join Hands On Atlanta volunteers the third Saturday of every month, from 9 – 11 am, to groom and mulch trails, install plants, pull weeds, and evict the privet. All you need is long sleeves & jeans, work gloves, and willing hands. Major HOA events are Hands On Atlanta Day, the first Saturday in October, and MLK Day of Service on January 19.
