Individual and Family Volunteers
You'll find plenty to do at Dunwoody Nature Center. There are many volunteer opportuntiies, for just about any skill and age. Check the options to the side.
In addition, each of our special events, from Enchanted Forest (October) and Cocoa & Candles (December) to the Butterfly Festival (June) and Family Animal Encounters (throughout the year) are supported by volunteers.

Community Service Volunteers
When you need to satisfy school or court required volunteer hours, Dunwoody Nature Center is a great place to work. We accept court-ordered service for minor offenses only.

Hands On Atlanta Service Days
Trail maintenance work sessions in partnership with Hands On Atlanta Volunteers provide much of the labor to keep our park safe and lovely.
Join Hands On Atlanta volunteers the third Saturday of every month, from 9 11 am, to groom and mulch trails, install plants, pull weeds, and evict the privet. All you need is long sleeves & jeans, work gloves, and willing hands. Major HOA events are Hands On Atlanta Day, the first Saturday in October, and MLK Day of Service on January 19.
