Put the second weekend of every month on your calendar for fun, low cost family fun at Dunwoody Nature Center.

 

compassLOST AND FOUND: ORIENTEERING FOR FAMILIES
Saturday, January 9, 10 am - Noon

Learn how to use GPS and compass technologies to find anything . . . including yourself if you're ever lost. A great family activity for all ages.

Members: $5 per child. General Public: $8 per child. (Adults are free when accompanying a child.)

 

 

PARK AFTER DARK: THE SPRING NIGHT SKY
Saturday, February 13, 7 - 9 pm

telescopeAs winter turns to spring, check out the constellations with our powerful teelscope, enjoy a night hike in the crisp evening air, and discover the hidden beauty of a park awakening from hibernation. Don't forget your flashlight!

Members: $5 per child. General Public: $8 per child. (Adults are free when accompanying a child)

 

 

LET'S GO FLY A KITE!
Saturday, March 13, 10 am - Noon

We'll make kites, then fly them in the Dunwoody Park ballfields (away from kite-eating trees).
